Share and Win a DAKINE backpack!

As we prepare for our expedition we’ll be trying to gain as much knowledge as possible about Kamchatka’s land, rivers, wildlife, economy, social dynamics, politics, international relations, and more. The most fun and interesting tidbits we find will wind up here in the Schoolhouse in a twenty-week campaign intended to raise awareness about the challenges facing Kamchatka today.

But this isn’t just about us spouting off a ton of links and beta that we’ve been checking out. You, our visitors and fans, possess a huge wealth of knowledge and have the opportunity to be our best teachers.

We are eager for any constructive contribution you have to make, whether it be information, feedback, questions, suggestions, complaints, handy links, or anything else you can think to add. To thank you for contributing, we’re holding a weekly drawing for prizes from companies like DAKINE, Nau, and Danner.

Entering is easy: for every constructive comment or contribution made within each week’s posts, you’ll be entered (up to thirty times per week) to random drawings for sweet gear contributed by friends of The Kamchatka Project.

This week’s prize: A spiffy new Blade backcountry ski/snowboard pack from our friends at DAKINE.

The color is ‘Dirt Patches,’ as pictured below.

This week you can also enter the contest just by signing up for our newsletter with your name and email address below. No spam, we promise!
